CARTER STREET is an Indiana based modern country/classic rock cover artist who has became a top favorite for meeting the needs to entertain. This high energy artist formed in central Indiana early in 2011 with only lead vocalist Zachary Carter and guitarist Tyler Keith. Together they would travel around the state performing acoustic shows at a variety of venues. Today, Carter Street is backed by a complete full band that leaves the audience with only the most exciting and captivating experience they deserve. During the early stages of forming, Carter Street decided that their brand would be covering fan favorite songs in the country/classic rock genre. During this time, Carter Street immediately began gaining popularity with local media stations by performing live acoustic shows on radio stations around the area. Carter Street in the time since still performs acoustic shows for radio stations, private parties, corporate events and even at weddings; but the full band experience is where the magic happens. Carter Street is most famous for opening and performing before national acts such as LOCASH, Gary Allan, Carl Storie, Jackyl and The Kentucky HeadHunters. Keeping influences close in mind for the Carter Street sound such as The Allman Brothers' Dickey Betts' southern rock tone, and Jason Aldean's 70's rock twist to country music, Carter Street strives on a full stage and letting the speakers breathe. Carter Street is a collaboration of professional and seasoned musicians who have traveled the country performing live music for the majority of their lives. Reviewers describe Carter Street as "Not your daddy's old country" and "Down home country and turn it to 10 rock" style of sound. While performing in different Battle of Bands competitions during the band's early days , judges described Carter Street as performing popular cover songs that everyone can sing and dance to, but putting their own unique twist in there to make the songs somewhat original to the listeners. It is Carter Street's goal each and every time performing on stage, that the viewer experiences the best live show that the event/venue could possibly host. Having performed for all ages, it truly shows how country music has transformed over the years and each generation can relate to every song that is played.
